Good day! kiddo just does not sleep much!
Feeds shortened from 2 hours to 1.5 hours.
Grandma got to hold RT for the first time!

Awesome day!
Still 1/2 LPM flow. Turned down to 35%.
Retaped his nasal cannula so it didn’t pop out of his nose as easy.
I dont think I have to say photos inside because I assume everyone reads further, but just in case. photos inside. Mom has been practicing with my camera!

Another great day!
Nurse comments how nice and round Ryan’s head is. It should be flat for the life he has had. Preemie toaster head (it gets flat on both or one side when you don’t rotate a baby enough. ) I tell her his NICU nurses worked really hard trying to avoid that. Another amazing day, he was amazingly stable with only getting grumpy a normal amount. An absolutely insatiable desire for his binky, usually if he is upset it’s because he is bored and wants some help moving or he wants his binky.

Head up early.
He had a good night, nurse we have had quite a few times.
RT is on 25% oxygen!
RT has been sleeping since this nurse got on duty. She has not done cares yet because she us waiting for him to wake up.
Of course RT hears mom and pops voice and starts looking around.

Before the eye exam the doctor was saying RT was doing so well respiratory wise that he may not technically be considered critical!
