Well it has been way longer than intended since my last post, times have gotten busy.

Christmas was awesome, I’ll put up some pictures soon.
Today RT is having yet again another surgery, now up to 9 surgeries counting this one. Due to his dysphagia(partial paralysis of his left vocal cord) they don’t meet in the middle perfectly so it causes swallowing issues, he s has to drink thickened liquids. Drink bottle in a side laying position or else he has risk of aspiration( fluid into lungs).

RT is doing amazing!
He wants to move constantly, he’s getting bigger by the day. 13 teeth with 3 more on the way.
A few much needed photos
His hernia you can see bulging on left side if his tummy. He didn’t want to hold still for photo. 
Looking at the neighbors Christmas lights before pajamas and bed . His PDA ligation incision under his left shoulder blade almost not visible anymore!
And of course making a mess of some prunes while trying to learn to use a spoon He seems to think he can osmosis them through his skin.
He rubbed them all Over his belly, then tried using it as shampoo. 
December 14th 2017 updated
Another day of surgery.
1057 Waiting to send RT back to the operating room. This time it’s an abdominal hernia where his Gtube once was, it left a hole in the muscles once it healed so his intestines can push through. Usually it heals on its own. G tube has now been caused 3 surgery’s, install, closure because it would not close on its own and hopefully lastly a hernia, because the muscles would not close.
Still his happy self but he knows he does not like being here. Will update post once surgery is complete.
1220: surgery complete, went well. Waiting to see him now!
1318: still waiting to see him, getting anxious.
1417: discharged. Surgery went well. When we got back to him they were pulling his IV line, then passed him off to me to feed him a bottle. His hand immediately began pouring blood from where they had pulled IV line some pressure and elevation got it to stop. Got everywhere though. Other than that uneventful. Groggy drugged boy.
