Well it has been way longer than intended since my last post, times have gotten busy.
This kid is wild! I have never heard of a kid that has as many plans as he does. His memory is incredible, he remembers things that happened months ago. When I tell him something once, usually he remembers it. He is clear concise and thinks things out multiple steps, if he wants something he will figure out how to do it, get it, or get one step closer to getting it.
He turned 3 years old today! Time is going quick. I am working away from home at the moment so I got to be there for cake and presents on FaceTime. We will do a party with friends when I get back. I think he gets it, but he misses me greatly. He has plans for when I get back.
The other day he told momma that the grass was getting long and dad needs to cut it.
Big points of the year.
He tested smart enough to graduate from Early steps, the in home sessions that the state provides for OT, PT, and more. It’s sad that it’s done, but exciting how far he has come. He pretty much tested higher than they ever see and answered questions that blew them away. His vocabulary is incredible.
He also tested too smart to be accepted into the school we have applied to.
In June he had a swallow study that went well, he drank fluids with a cup he has been using a hydro flask cup for a thicker brand of coconut milk. Completely done with bottle. Still issues with thin fluids. I don’t think that surgery is the right way to go, since he is not having other health issues due to it.
When he walks his heels are down a good portion of the time. His stability is greatly improving. Still wearing leg braces when out and about, and at home a good portion of the time
We went to the 19th annual governors summet on disabilities In Orlando. We had lots of fun, he was obsessed with the escalators. L learned some programs and opportunities for the little man. We went out to eat in restaurants and he did really well being patient for food, he ordered his meal himself one of the times.
Still working on his allergy’s.
Continuing horse therapy. (They love him, I’m pretty sure they want to keep our kid haha)
Started aqua therapy, but only when there is an open spot with the therapist. He loves it.
About to start building a mud kitchen for some outdoor water play.
Every day I am blown away by our child’s thoughts, ideas, associations, creativity. He is growing up faster than I anticipated.
To those of you that have been checking for a post. I apologize for not keeping this more up to date.
I have included photos from the last few months early year at the top.
Photos don’t want to upload due to Poor internet in my area. Upload them when I get back..
