Thinking back to when we were in the hospital for thanksgiving in 2016. Being told his eyes were having Retinopathy or prematurity flare up again. Things certainly have changed!
From his potential bad and worse outcomes due to all of his complications to where he is today, he is better than anyone told us to expect.
Today he had a blast kicking around a soccer ball. He did great! He has started to enjoy drinking juice from a sippy cup but we have to thicken it quite a bit due to his swallowing issues(paralyzed vocal cord) still doesn’t effect his voice just swallowing. He pretty much never stops talking now and knows hundreds of words. He always get complimented on his talking ability, always tries for hard words, and has an incredible memory for names. He has started therapy on horses a few months back He loves it. Going to try and get some good pictures the next time. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
