Hard to believe RT was born 5 months ago. Have we really been here that long. The days were slow, but the months happened quick. It’s weird how that happens.

RT is 5 months old. We should be discharged tomorrow!

Just his eye exam and a synagis shot before discharge.

He took 60cc by bottle last night.

He took 80cc at one point today when mom was bottle feeding!

Amazing!

They brought us a wedge to put him on for sleeping. It’s massive. Won’t be fun to travel with but it will keep him at a good incline for sleeping.

Went to base, said bye to chaplain, unfortunate the circumstances calling for us to meet last year. They have become part of the family, maybe years down the road when we come back on vacation to show RT where he was born and spent the first couple months of his life he will get to meet his honorary grandparents again.

I went and dealt with wrapping up a last few things, closing PO box Grabbing stuff from the store for the drive.

It felt like tomorrow would not come. And now it’s here. I guess it’s actually today at this point.

Oh and I forgot to mention it last night,  he had his hearing test. He passed! Another check in the box!

He has had a great day!

Time to try and rest again while RT is quiet.
