Day much like yesterday.

He pooped last night! No suppository! So happy he has been pooping now that his hernia has been repaired! Keep it going!

I asked why we moved to 80cc feeds every 4 hours instead of 70 every 3. A large loss in his total feeding volume per day.

The doctor (same one that switched his feeds) says oh yes, we did this same math and decided we will change it to 90cc.

Mhmm ok.

One of our friends comes to visit,  Aunty K! Looks like she fell in love with him! Glad she was able to come see him again before we move across the country.

Feeding with bottle by mouth again today!  This time mom gets to do it!  First time mom gets to feed RT! Today were using a slower nipple on the bottle,  help RT pace himself.

It works excellent and he maybe gathered himself a little better.  Only one time did he cough and thats because he was getting to sleepy and then startled himself. Nothing bad.

No sleeping while you eat RT!

Today he took the whole bottle that we gave him!  30cc! Twice what he took yesterday and he did it much better too!

Excellent start to feeding!

He had a small poop again!

He is angry with his more spread out feeds we think.

Occupational therapist points out most babies at RT’s age require feeds every 3 hours.

Dr. says that’s a good point but wants to stay at every 4 in hopes of making less work when we go home. To us it does not matter much 3 or 4 hours not a big difference.  That is only 2 less feeds per night.  If anything we could do every 3 during the day and 4 at night Or something.

Mom and I might push for feeds to go back to every 3 hours.

Discussion of when we might go  home  be discharged sounds like the 27th!

If everything keeps going as well as we can hope!
