RT got a bath, and fresh nasal cannula during thenight and slept almost of the rest of the night!
Nurse we have not had.
We fill 2 more coolers full of frozen milk to send home with grandma. California home, not Alaska home. Alaska won’t be our home upon discharge, instead we will be moving where RT can get the care he needs!
An exciting move accross the county is in our future.
Heart rate and respiration rate no longer needed to be monitored! No more leads on his chest! He only has his spo2 sensor! This means they trust his heart!
He has been sitting at 100 spo2 almost always!
No big changes today other than no more leads to monitor his heart or respiration rate!
I bet he feels good!
Bring Grandmother to the airport and exchange the rental car. Glad our parents have gotten to meet our little guy, he changes so fast.
Sapository. Results! 107 gram diaper.
We take turns holding.
RT is a cheerful boy mostly.
He wants bigger meals, he gets really hungry and sucks ferociously at his binky before the next food time and won’t calm down like he is full till he tires himself out by trying to devour his binky.
Pretty cute! Hopefully he can have some calm about him when he tries to feed by mouth and remembers there is more to it than just sucking. It’s our job to teach him breath/swallow.
Tonoght same nurse as last two nights!
Once we eventally get him settled after food and diaper. It’s time for us to go try and sleep.
Love you RT!
Tomorrow might bring snow to Seattle, not as much as our friends to the north recieved though.
