Normal cares today. Stable temps. Just pee. He gets 48 hours to poop before he’s assisted.

Trainee with our primary las night. Primary went home early,  not feeling well so thats a bummer hope she is ok. Curious… Who did we have? 

RT got an awesome shirt from one of our friends and wore it for the first time last night! He ended up peeing all over it and his blanket during cares.

So then one of the respiratory therapist held him while they changed out all his bedding.  He ended up then peeing all over her and she had to change her clothes.    RT you silly boy! Seems like he wants to Pee only in clean diapers or when it’s open!

The awesome shirt has now dissappeared but his blanket was in our dirty laundry pile.

Not sure how his shirt went missing or mistaken for hospital clothes, it has RT’s first and last name right on the front in blue sparky writing! Glad we took a picture last night,  had the nurse today send out an email asking for it back if anyone sees it.

1100 Pulmanologist stops by bedside during cares. We have a long discussion about the long path he wants to take to extubate. He has valid points but I am worried he is wrong about certain things.  I express my worries. 5

1200 Family rounds go quick. Dr. Wants to move faster than Pulmonologist.

1230-1500 MILK took a long time to remove and relabel all of the milk bottles as per the requirement to donate milk.  Donated 300 fluid oz of milk or 2.3 gallons! Super awesome!

1630-2000 skin to skin! It goes good but he takes a while to settle down.

Ongoing discussions like the last two days about the potential plans moving forward with multiple people.

Not exactly sure what way we will be mooving forward.

Just so long as we are moving forward.

RT is rambunctious, hopefully he does not unexpectedly extubate himself.
