Quite the day.

“Perfect” eyes!

Weaned respiration rate to 32 from 36.
Weaned morphine slightly.
Weaned steroids slightly.

Weekly parent rounds with his team.  I ask if we can get an xray for tomorrow, to see if we are continuing with any trends or if things are improving to see what we are doing is helping.  Dr. not convinced that we need it. 

Doctor accepts some paperwork to fill out for us!

Mom did skin to skin. Ended slightly early because he was too active.

Fairly stabe day.

Up .5cc per hour on feedings.  That’s 12cc more per day!

Under 40% oxygen almost all day.  Mostly between 28% and 36%. Amazing to see under the 30% again. A low of 26%!

2000 cares, 37.0 just pee about to swaddle him back up. Big poop! A 3 diaper change.

Say our goodnights on 34% oxygen.

He is one amazing boy.

Blood gas,  and xray ordered for tomorrow. I guess the doctor decided on an xray for tomorrow!
