His head increased in circumference 3cm in 7 days.

Just had our weekly rounds, with RT’s team.

Cranial ultrasound doesn’t show an increase in ventricular size so that usually means the pressure isn’t increasing more in his head. 

Starting a new antibiotic to combat infection. They checked how sensitive it was to different antibiotics,  selected one that will target the bacteria better. It seemed like a positive meeting. Asked some questions, got some answers.

Next few days we will be weaning to try and get him closer to going onto NIV NAVA.

Relieved cranial ultrasound didn’t show worsening. We were worried when we saw ultrasound was here when it wasn’t scheduled.
